Word Work	Go to Spelling City and practice your Words. Write sentences.	What is our Word Analysis Skill of the week? Select an app and explain the skill and give examples of the skill.	Stick Around Make a puzzle using spelling words. Test it before showing others.
Listening	Listen to your weekly story online.  Retell the story using an app of your choice.	Go to https://www.storyboxlibrary.com.au and use the pass words given by your teacher. Select a book of you choice. Review book using app of your choice	Listen to a story on Story Line. Retell the story.
Read with teacher	Meet with teacher for Guided Reading/ Reader’s Circle
Writing	Photo a day. Take a photo of anything and post on your blog. Write a description of the photo and include an explanation as to why you chose to take this photo. THIS MUST BE DONE EVERY DAY!	Comment on someone in your grades or your teacher’s blog. Draft a comment for another blog from our school. After editing show your teacher before publishing.	Read the Wonder of the Day. What do you think? Share your thoughts.
Read to Self	Read and Record. Take a photo of the page that you are reading, then record yourself reading it. Keep this on your iPad. This should be done twice a Term. Add what you have read to your reading record – using ‘Notes’	Read the News Story on Newsela and take the quiz.  Record your results and the skill/skills you missed.	Read the next story from ThinkCERCA. Take the Comprehension Quiz. Record your results.
